There are many homeless cats in St. Petersburg, many people really care and help them to find homes. There is a lovely place next to my studio, a garbage place, that is very popular among the locals. From time to time people just come there to check around. For my story, this is a perfect exhibition space. I made 12 sculptures of cats and exhibited them on site. The project had a therapeutic effect. it was important for me to make a project about kindness and support at these turbulent times. Within 2.5 hours, all the cats found their new homes. One cat remained, it is made of concrete and painted with bitumen. Now, the locals got their own remarkable sight «A cat on the roof".

  Отправной точкой нашего проекта послужили известные события на Украине, когда в феврале 2014-го года, за одну ночь были уничтожены десятки памятников Ленину по всей стране.
> Мы не пытаемся и не хотим давать оценку ситуации, более того – идеи Ленина нам не близки, но, данная акция не могла оставить нас равнодушными.
> Не пытаясь вернуть прошлого, скорее для собственного внутреннего равновесия мы решили «воссоздать» разрушенные на Украине памятники Ленину, используя современный художественный язык.
