In this project I combine physicality and the public space of the city. I see a city as an organism where there are many different systems and they all develop together with the people who inhabit it. If we consider urban sculpture as a system, we can highlight its main directions and trace trends . In Vienna there is a lot of sculpture of the memory of generations and it is almost all vertical. I am interested in making a sculpture in a different plane. The sculpture of angelic nipples is a connection between the past and the present, something that unites all people. The implementation of the project involves making nipples from cast iron or bronze and using them as covers for the sewer system.
В этом проекте я объединяю телесность и общественное пространство города. Я вижу город как организм где много разных систем и все они развиваются вместе с людьми которые его населяют. Eсли рассматривать городскую скульптуру как систему, можно выделить ее основные направления и проследить тенденции и направления. В Вене много скульптуры памяти поколений и она почти вся вертикальная. Мне интересно сделать скульптуру в другой плоскости. Реализация проекта подразумевает изготовление сосков из чугуна или бронзы и использование их в качестве крышек канализационной системы.
The "angel nipple" is made of bronze or cast iron and covers sewer manholes like a lid. The continuation of the project with nipples is the production of shields using ancient technology from wood, leather and metal parts.
